Neil Carter

Executive Vice President, Midwest Division

Neil Carter leads the Midwest Division operations team for LandCare. He brings a lifetime of green industry experience to the role: former business owner, top executive for The Brickman Group’s Midwest Division, and most recently as an independent consultant.

A graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Agricultural Economics, Neil played football, earned NCAA honors in track and field, and was a leader in his FarmHouse Fraternity chapter.

He brought his Midwest values and that drive for excellence and integrity with him into the business world. Neil’s breadth of knowledge includes construction, design, maintenance and snow management, as well as business strategy and acquisition integration.

But more importantly, his nurturing personality, mild manner and keen insight have helped him grow businesses and leaders throughout the green industry. Neil’s passion for mentoring teams, building strong relationships and maintaining standards of integrity guides LandCare teams in the Midwest to deliver their best to their customers.

Neil’s approach to leadership is long-term and values-based. He teaches that relationships last beyond today’s business deal and what we do today can have a lasting impact.

Neil splits time on his farm and his home in Lake Zurich, IL, with his wife and children.
