There was a lot interest in some of the free LandCare giveaways. The most popular bit of swag was the sunflower in a can. The sunflower is ready to grow in its can: just sow seeds, water and place in sunny area. In order to earn a giveaway, students had to pass a quiz!

They had to give the correct name of a surrounding tree, bush or flower. This student received her sunflower after correctly identifying a Rhaphiolepis in bloom.
