When Retired Army Veteran Dick Jansen of Laurel, MD needed some help around his yard, he reached out to a fellow American Legion Post #60 member for help. The member referred him to LandCare, and, after an initial meeting, our Baltimore team laid out plans to revitalize Mr. Jansen’s landscape.

After the plans were reviewed and approved by Mr. Jansen, our team started work onsite. They began removing dead bushes, clearing trash and debris, and pressure washed decks. Once the yard was clean, the team replaced some broken lattice, repurposed old pavers to build up an existing flower bed, and installed new, low maintenance plants for Mr. Jansen to enjoy.

The team was grateful to give back to a community member who had sacrificed so much.
