East Division Safety Director Doug Swistock conducted successful driver safety meetings with LandCare teams in the Texas and Oklahoma regions last week. The meetings are a part of a safety series focused on safe driving techniques as well as proper protective equipment and onboarding processes.

LandCare branches depend on heavy machinery to complete labor-intensive tasks on job sites every day; this is the simple nature of the landscaping industry. However, the most dangerous activity that our team members engage in is pulling onto the highway. All managers, supervisors, and other LandCare drivers have a responsibility to their passengers and the public to be safe on the roads. Practicing safe driving habits is an important step in reducing the number of auto claims and accidents.

Doug will be leading more safety meetings with branches in the MidSouth region later this month.
