The DE/PA LandCare team recently volunteered to clean up the landscape at Zane North Elementary School in Collingswood, New Jersey. Our team spent the day removing old plant material and adding mulch to the school’s rain garden, landscape beds, and other green spaces around the playground.

“Routine maintenance was typically done by volunteer groups in the past, but COVID-19 has made volunteering difficult to organize,” explained Craig Romig, Branch Manager. “Since our teams are already well-equipped with the tools and training necessary to work through the pandemic, we wanted to take the opportunity to contribute to the community.”

With a rejuvenated landscape, Zane North can welcome students back to a clean and inviting outdoor space.
