Landcare Leadership Conference Preps for Winning 2016 Season
What's Happening at LandCare
CEO, Mike Bogan kicked off the week with a celebration of the successes of the past year, and set the tone for moving forward, with a focus on taking care of team members, clients and community.
“I’m excited to see the enthusiasm and commitment of our teams across the business,” commented Bogan. “This was a challenging year of change and to have witnessed how our branch and regional leaders embraced that change makes me confident we have some of the brightest, most passionate individuals leading our teams. That puts us in a strong position to move forward and become a true leader in the commercial landscape industry.”
Senior leaders hosted education sessions on building strong teams, sales leadership and effective production techniques. Team members also learned from each other by sharing experiences and best practices, including innovative thinking and new technology for maximizing service and efficiency.
“The opportunity that exists within LandCare is unique,” commented Skyler Westergard, Branch Manager in Seattle. “It’s energizing to be here sharing ideas and focusing on ways to strengthen our teams. The company is going through a lot of positive change and that state of flux is allowing us to innovate solutions to the challenges of not only our business but to the challenges in our industry as a whole.”
One of the most valuable parts of the annual conference is the synergy that networking creates. Social activities were designed to encourage attendees to forge new friendships and network across the organization to leverage the power of the knowledge and experience within the LandCare community.
“This business is built on relationships,” commented Rob Barber, VP of Operations. “We are especially grateful to the strong relationships we have with our vendor partners whose generosity sponsored our conference and whose continuing engagement enables us to perform at our best for our clients and our teammates.”
Platinum sponsors included: Ford, eXmark, TruGreen, Aon, Novae, John Deere and Site One Landscape Supply.
