The LandCare Support Center in Frederick, MD decided to take on the true spirit of the holidays; instead of catering, LandCare team members held a potluck-style holiday dinner party and used the funds saved to purchase personal care products to donate to a local emergency cold weather shelter. The support staff took an hour out of their dinner to assemble soap, washcloths, deodorant, razors, tissues, toothpaste, and other items into 100 drawstring LandCare bags donated by a vendor. These homemade hygiene kits were then delivered to shelter personnel, who were appreciative to receive the items as they were stocking up on supplies in preparation for winter storms.

The LSC team went on to enjoy a night of great food, games, and holiday cheer!
