THE POSITION

Branch Managers at LandCare provide vision and leadership for the branch, and are responsible for all aspects

of the business in their local market. Branch Managers manage strong teams to ensure we delight our

customers and generate strong business results. The position has ownership of our landscape quality, client

service and retention, new business development, safety, and the overall culture of the branch.

Leadership

The Payroll Clerk is responsible for supporting the Payroll department as needed in all payroll-related tasks. The Payroll Clerk will uphold data integrity and confidentiality of Payroll records through detailed and accurate data entry.

To be successful as a Payroll Clerk at LandCare you should have strong attention to detail, ability to input data quickly and accurately, and resolve any payroll issues with a sense of urgency while upholding confidentiality.

 

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Data entry as it relates to payroll changes, timecards and other payroll related tasks.
  • Filing and scanning of any direct check requests, timecards and paperwork.
  • Run and audit data entry performed to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain and update employee records.
  • Assist with payroll projects, W-2 and payroll year-end procedures.
  • Receive, file and distribute in-coming mail.
  • Continually identify and champion ways to improve processes and create efficiencies to reduce turn-around time while achieving high expectations for accuracy. 
  • Handle incoming calls to payroll phone line and return voicemails in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
