SAN DIEGO, CA. – LandCare held its third Accelerated Leadership Development Program (ALDP) in October, furthering its investment in cultivating talent from within.

The five-day program brought together 20 team members from across the country to Chesapeake Bay, Maryland. Participants completed a comprehensive curriculum designed to strengthen both leadership skills and operational expertise.

“I was honored to attend this incredible program,” said Jared Little, ALDP Cohort III graduate. “I left feeling inspired, motivated, and ready to bring what I learned back to my branch. One of my biggest takeaways was the importance of being intentional every single day – in how we lead, communicate, and grow within ourselves. I feel grateful to be part of a company that invests so deeply in people and is committed to developing future leaders.”

Created to prepare high-potential team members for leadership roles, the ALDP delivers focused training sessions facilitated by LandCare’s executive team with practical application through collaborative activities. The balance of structured learning and hands-on experiences is crafted to build trust, promote innovative thinking, and strengthen problem-solving under pressure. Since launching the program in October 2024, LandCare has promoted 12 graduates to Branch Manager roles and one to Market VP.

“ALDP represents our commitment to building the next generation of LandCare leaders,” said Jennifer Burnett, Chief People Officer. “It reflects our dedication to strengthening the capabilities, confidence, and connection of those who will guide our organization into the future.”
