SAN DIEGO, CA. – July marked the end of LandCare’s fourth MT Program cohort and the start of cohort five. Launched in 2022, the year-long learning and development program has graduated 36 team members, helping them build a management foundation through a mix of weekly webinars and online learning sessions.
Designed to mimic an accelerated graduate program, the MT Program focuses on developing essential skills through project-based learning, peer networking, and individual and team assignments, intending to prepare participants for management roles at LandCare.
Cohort 4 graduates, comprised of Account Managers and Production Managers who joined the company just over a year ago, completed in-depth training in areas such as communication, personal excellence, production management, and strategic leadership.
“Watching these professionals transform throughout the program is incredibly rewarding,” said Skyler Westergard, Manager of LandCare’s Learning & Development Team and facilitator of the training program. “Each cohort contributes unique perspectives and experiences, and seeing them gain the confidence and skills to become exceptional leaders within our organization makes this program so valuable.”
As cohort five begins their year-long training program, they will participate in monthly learning sessions, complete supplemental self-directed learning modules, and work on strategic projects that will prepare them to take on expanded responsibilities and establish a strong growth path with LandCare.
