Our San Diego team partnered with 40 BOMA volunteers to revitalize the landscape at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater San Diego, a nonprofit organization that provides academic success, character development, and healthy lifestyle programs to kids living in San Diego county.

Former Boys & Girls Club member and LandCare RVP Jim Kelley led volunteers to clean, pick weeds, and lay mulch in and around the facility’s playground while another group painted the interior of the building.

“45 years ago, the Linda Vista Boys Club was my go-to spot hanging with friends as we learned to swim, play basketball and many other activities. Little did I know at the time, we were being mentored by responsible, young adults along the way,” said Jim. “To give back to my club in this way… with Ramon Ulloa [BM] and Doug Spunaugle [AM] at my side, was a very rewarding and special day.”
