The Palm Springs branch recently volunteered their time at Riverside County Education Academy as part of their CommunityCare Day initiative, clearing out unmaintained portions of the landscape. LandCare team members focused their efforts on three small lots in between classrooms that had become overgrown with dry brush and weeds; they spent the day removing dead plant material and raking the lots, cleaning up the look of the area while reducing fire risk.
