LandCare announces slew of hires, promotions

LandCare recently promoted three employees and hired eight in management and executive roles.

Branden LaPrade

Branden LaPrade and Jensen Bogan were all promoted to branch managers of Atlanta West and Austin, respectively. LaPrade joined LandCare four years ago, holding various positions which have prepared him for a branch manager role. LaPrade has played an instrumental role in the recent expansion of LandCare’s Atlanta market, which includes the addition of a new branch. Bogan started as an account manager in 2020, thriving in the role and developing her knowledge of client relations and operations.

Alec Ryan, who joined the company in 2020 as a branch manager, was promoted to market vice president in the Texas South region. In addition to these internal promotions, LandCare has brought on several new management team members in the Central and Northeast divisions, including some who will be leading new branches.

Central Division branches saw exponential growth in 2022 and are bringing on the team members to match, adding four new branch managers. Heading the newly minted Atlanta South branch is industry veteran Jeff Dietzel. Dietzel brings over 14 years of experience, a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from the University of Georgia. Chris Carpenter joins the Dallas East branch with a horticulture degree from Texas A&M. Tampa found its new branch manager in Eric Lasko, who brings a lifetime of experience, including 17 years of leadership and management throughout markets in Florida. Jeff Billinger, hired in the Raleigh branch, has a bachelor’s degree in landscape design and is a Certified Landscape Professional. He is an NALP member and has experience in the North Carolina, Texas, and Florida markets.

Nick Carabetta

Joining LandCare’s Northeast Division are two new market vice presidents who will oversee its operations as well as three new branch managers. Mike Harvey and Nick Carabetta are the new Northeast market vice presidents, bringing a combined 45 years of green experience. Harvey has 30 years of green industry experience from frontline work to regional management. He has a bachelor’s degree in management, holds certifications in turf and ornamental in over 25 states, and has experience overseeing a variety of terrains. Carabetta has 16 years of experience, holds an M.B.A. and has educational experience through teaching sales and leadership.

Jarod Eaton is the new branch manager for LandCare’s Delaware branch. He has over 22 years of experience in the green industry, starting out at a small business garden center in Maryland. After serving for six years in the U.S. Army, he returned to landscaping in 2016, working on high-end residential properties. Lorton Branch Manager, Nick Hoxter, is passionate about technology and how it will advance the landscaping industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in horticulture and more recently obtained his UAS pilot’s license.
