LandCare in the News

LandCare recently held their fifth annual leadership conference in San Diego. Over 100 branch managers and regional leaders gathered from around the country for the three-day immersive training and development event, which focused on the importance of growing and maintaining company culture.

“There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing our leaders come together and be truly energized and excited about what’s happening in their markets,” said Mike Bogan, CEO of LandCare. “Taking time as a group to reaffirm our commitments to our core values and learn from one another is an incredibly important driver of that success,” added Bogan.

The event featured breakout sessions led by professional speakers from Tamayo Consulting, who led LandCare’s leaders in interactive and engaging discussions on teamwork, autonomy, motivation, and integrity in the workplace. Attendees also received a firsthand look at leading technology and equipment from over 30 industry partners at the vendor showcase.
Each day concluded with receptions at some of San Diego’s finest venues, giving LandCare’s leaders a chance to connect with each other personally.

“I really enjoyed interacting with people outside of my region,” mentioned Phil Johnston, branch manager in Phoenix. “The opportunity to share ideas with team members from across the country in-person is very valuable, and it’s given me some great ideas to take back to my team.”

The conference ended with feelings of excitement about the future and an eager desire to implement new learning in the spirit of constant improvement.
