The Seattle South branch recently partnered with Ridgeway Elementary to renovate the school’s courtyard area as part of their CommunityCare Day project! Ten LandCare volunteers designed and installed a low-maintenance environment surrounding the school’s lunch tables. The team relied on hardscape elements to create a clean look that will withstand heavy use throughout the school year, as this area is frequented by children and staff during recess and lunch breaks.

“This project was really important to our branch, and we were excited to have the opportunity to complete it right before the start of the school year,” said Tyler Benoit, Account Manager.

In addition to the courtyard makeover, the branch has pledged to donate more landscaping services to the Ridgeway PTA’s annual fundraising auction later this year.
